False generosity - who's money is it?

Pretentious politicians pretending to be so kind to pay people a percentage of there wages during corona? Sooooo, generous! Guess who’s money that is in the first place? Have a quick think. Got there? It’s our moneys. It’s what we pay as a collective to a government we elected,democratically and in solidarity, as a collective to act in our interest. What that HELL is soooo damn surprising? Tell me? It’s not even like you bought a phone voluntarily and the person you got it from gives you a discount afterwards because of Corona. What puzzles me is that we as people all chip in for the society we live in, and that’s we are told and taught everyone from a small age onwards. Yet, when we who chip in to for the greater good are all endangered it comes as a surprise that we get some financial security from our common pot of money? I mean, please! Who is endangered? Top down government with self-interest and in liaison with big business, and smug bureaucracy? Or is it us? The only bubble that’s about to burst is the one we were told to accept to live in for the profit of others.
